As most people in the area know our office offers an abundance of nutritional and weight management programs and protocols in addition to traditional chiropractic services.  We have the opportunity to work with an abundance of individuals on a personal level every single day to aid them in reaching their dietary and weight loss goals.  It’s amazing how dropping extra pounds can completely change a person’s perspective about themselves and their lives.  Over this past year I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work with one of the most dedicated and determined Ideal Protein Dieter’s I have had walk in to my office yet.  Her story is remarkable and her transformation is truly inspiring.


Judee’s transformation began on December 16, 2015.  That’s right.  Right before Christmas!  She weighed in at 282 pounds; with a BMI of 40.5 which would put her in the extremely obese category (Anything over 30 BMI is considered “obese”).  This was the day that Judee decided to change her own life.  Over the next 38 weeks Judee underwent the transformation of her life where she went from eating processed carbohydrates in cereals, popcorn, candy, burgers, fries, and lots of other “crap” to dedicating herself and her health to the Ideal Protein Diet.  For those of you that are not familiar with Ideal Protein, it is a rapid weight loss program that averages loss of 3-7 pounds/ week.  The diet is completely safe, clinician guided, and obviously extremely successful! Judee started the diet on December 16, 2015.  She successfully steered through Christmas dinners, New Year’s Eve Drinks, Easter Sunday Lunch, numerous birthday parties, summer picnics, family potlucks, lots of traveling weeks with her company, girl’s nights out, and dinners out with the family.  She made it through all these occasions without any cheating on the diet, knowing that cheating on the diet is ultimately cheating herself and her health.  You can easily incorporate Ideal Protein ketosis in to any of these occasion.   Judee had zero sips of alcohol, zero “tastes” of anything that she was not supposed to have.   She simply zeroed in on her goals and made it happen.
